  1. He was one of the few kid show hosts to talk about controversial issues without getting too political! He did an episode about violence and tried to avoid politics and showed how people who crazy and dangerous, should always try to help more people NOT the same way our media does. We need people like him to deal with what’s going on in the world and schools.

  2. With everything happening in the world today where is this Mr. Rogers for this generation and the next?

Another memorable was just after The Wizard of Oz came out. Children had been so frightened by the Wicked Witch that they were afraid of Margaret Hamilton, the actress who played her. So Mister Rogers asked Ms. Hamilton on to show kids that she had just been playing pretend and that the Wicked Witch wasn't real.

  3. Mr. Rogers surely gave me nostalgic/childhood-memory. Even if I only watched a few episodes of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood and even if I have never actually met him, he taught me many things that no one has ever taught me before. I have forgotten about him for a very long time after I saw that TV Show for a last time, but I had no idea he passed away until later, positively because I have forgotten about him. It's so sad that he passed away.
We will always remember you Mr. Rogers.

  4. Mr. Rogers voice was so comforting. He was one of the reasons why I always try to be a good person. My childhood was the best when I watched him I walked away feeling good about myself and I never looked at others differently all because of mr. Rogers. This was a joy to watch now I’m crying tears of joy thinking about how he was a wonderful man in my life…

  5. Good old times reliving my childhood with Mr Rogers I remember always watching his show on PBS kids

    ……..I miss Mr Rogers 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

  6. he loved us and he thought we were deserving of his love. there is no better feeling than knowing that Mr. Rogers cared about you… even if you never met him.

  7. Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood and Sesame Street are far and away better than most kids' show because they have never been afraid to directly address serious topics.  They show you that feeling sad or angry or jealous or selfish are normal feelings, but also how to deal with them the right way.  Mr. Rogers also once appeared in front of congress alongside Twisted Sister's Dee Snyder fighting against censorship in the media.  That's right, the man least likely to be censored was standing up against it.

  8. We officially need a heart icon on you tube the little like icon does not give Mr. Rogers justice.. he was an amazing person who loved with all his heart.. thank you Mr. Rogers for my childhood and now my children's childhood as well..

  9. As I was watching this I couldn’t help but cry, not because I’m upset but because he is a teacher even from beyond his grave, he will always hit those emotional notes just right. For me when I did watch him sometimes on TV before steaming services, never really thought about him too much growing up, but now me as an adult seeing his work now, makes me sad that he’s not around to spread his message of peace, kindness, and love. With a gentle but yet compassionate voice, sure most people wouldn’t really care but I think if more people actually listened and watched him. People would learn a great deal from him. It pains me literally to just feel like he’s not here to talk to us when we don’t know how to manage feelings. This top 10 really gutted me in a good way, just reminding me that I need to remember Fred Rogers teachings and how he approaches things.

Thanks you Watch Mojo team, if your reading this, you’ve made my month a bit sweeter and more hopeful. Keep doing what your doing, and you’ll be fine. You guys have some interesting stuff. However, this one had a special place in my heart. Thank you thank you so much. Very big thumbs up, and a favorited video. I’ll come back to this time and time again if I’m thinking about Fred Rogers or if I need to show someone Fred Rogers.

  10. I really loved watching Mr. Rogers as a little kid and even now, as a 35 year old grownup he still is a calm and reassuring voice to hear whose message of "I like you just the way you are" and other positive message still rig loud and true today. His goodbye message/video makes me cry every time I see it cause I really miss him and his words of love and kindness. Kids need them today as much as they did when I and generations of other kids who grew up watching Mr. Rogers needed them.

  11. Mr. Rogers is the only person who will untamed the inner beast in me 💔😭😢such a sweet man who absolutely loved everyone made my eyes watery. R.I.P. Mr. Rogers 💐used to enjoy watching his show on PBS kids.

  12. I genuinely feel terrible how I refused to watch the reruns in the 2000s because I wanted to convince myself that I wasn’t a baby. I wish I saw the show, I wish we can get this type of content back. We stopped caring about how children need to learn how to love others. We focused on making sure they see how special they are and now we see the rise of bullying, suicide rates, misogyny and racism in the millennial generation because they can’t stand acknowledging other people’s humanity, especially when they feel the attention is being taken away from them. We aren’t allowed to feel, we either suck it up or attack others to make ourselves feel better. God bless Fred Rogers!
