  1. It's weird seeing one of these without cut springs. Compared to most of the results on Google images this Civic VX almost looks lifted. What I wouldn't do to find one of these stock.

  2. This car got 39 city 50 highway according to the EPA. I have no clue where you got 48 city 55 highway.

It’s fun to make fun of how inefficient cars have gotten, but you're getting carried away with quoting anecdotes as fact.

Modern hybrids get over 50mpg. I think at least one gets 59mpg

This got 43 combined. Respectable, but not quite what you're reporting.

  3. Great review! I love the funny 90s nostalgia rant. It was a different time for sure back then. When are you gonna review the Honda Prelude? You’ve done the Civics, the NSX, Del Sol, Accord, and the CRX, where’s the Prelude?

  4. I bought a white 1992 Civic VX brand new and still have it. It is my daily driver, has 530,000 miles on it, still looks and runs great! They only made 12,000 of them over the 4 year run out of about 1,200,000 built then.

  5. in the 90's if you wanted to spot slack jawed, loud mouthed, baseball cap werin', rap listenin', ficticious speed tale jabberin' asshole…then you just had tospot one of those car and if it was driven by anyone under 40, youve got a winner.

according to asshole folk tales white ones with tinted glass, 200 lbs of noise making in the trunk and cold air induction were extremly faster than any others

  6. You hardly have to have a job if you own one of these. So cheap to drive and fix. I think I spent a total of $17 the last 2 times my car broke down, combined over like 4 years. I drove mine for 21 years and it currently has 585,000 miles on it.

  7. Love your vids! Keep it up!
I have a 1994 4runner bought from a friend who was downsizing; $1200, all stock, no lift, skinny tires, steel wheels, 22RE, stick and low geared rear end…and I daily this thing and I love it. I'm told that 2nd gen clean 'runners are getting hard to find and 4 cyl 4WDs are unicorns. Doing a rolling restoration on it.
