  2. Lynda Carter's WONDER WOMAN should've been included in the list. It was topical with its 'war'-setting, the Second Wave feminist message, as well as revolutionizing the industry for introducing stunt-women in the action genre in Hollywood.

  3. Dallas was breakthrough TV . Three's Company wasn't and it was savaged by the critics and rightly so because it was as Variety put it " Marshmellow fluff and terribly coy !"

  4. Little House on the Prarie deserves top 5 at least and it just got an honorable mention. That show is a heartbreaking, realistic, and yet family friendly show that wasn't afraid to kill of your favorite character or make the family's go poor. Most of these others can't do that. Even nowadays, TV is afraid. It helped though that it was based of of the book series

  5. There were so many iconic shows from the 70's it's impossible to choose a Top 10 or whatever. It was a very strange, somewhat embarrassing, yet defining era of television. Sure "Miami Vice," "Dynasty," but also, "Love Boat," "Fantasy Island," and what about "H.R. Puffinstuff." Strange days indeed, most peculiar mama.

  6. WTF, WatchMojo!! "The Brady Bunch"?!?!?! Even a "Similar" Crap Program like "The Partridge Family" had more Talent than "The Brady Bunch"!! Read this Dummies.. "The Jefferson's", "Maude", "Good Times" & "WKRP In Cincinnati" should've certainly placed Before "The Brady Bunch". You "HONESTLY" think "Happy Days" & The Muppets" Defined the 1970's more so than than "All In The Family"?!?! Shows like "Columbo", "All In The Family" & "Taxi" should be in the Top 5. Hell!! "Taxi" wasn't even mentioned.

  7. What about Emergency??? When Emergency first came out the Paramedic program was still not in California. The first episode was shown to the state government to get the law passed. Many people owe their life to that show. Ask almost any Fire Fighter, Paramedic or first aid attendant and they will say that they got interested because of that show.

  8. little house on the prairie should have been #1 the Walton's, police woman, six million dollar man, bionic woman, wonder woman, the incredible hulk, battlestar Galactica didn't even make the cut that's sad
