  1. I have an ultra wide angle, and have been wondering how I'd use it in landscapes since I'm most likely to use my 70-200mm. I was thinking that it would come in handy at a place like the Grand Canyon, to capture the patterns of the mesas and possibly their relationship to the Colorado River that runs through there, but couldn't get any further in my thinking. Now, I have a better idea on how to use it for reasons other than capturing the patterns found in grand vistas. Thank you for this excellent lesson, Tomas!

  2. I notice that you, at least it seems, mostly use your 24-105mm or 70-200mm. Do you often go wider. I only ask because those are are the lenses I use most often (24-70 and 70-200), but I'm tempted to buy a 20mm prime given that there are a few occasions when I wish I had a wider then 24mm field of view and stepping back wasn't really an option. I know I can do a portrait panoramas, but sometimes that's not convenient (especially if the light is changing quickly). I just don't know whether the additional 4mm will make such a difference to my work. I definitely don't want another heavy weight zoom…. Oh decisions decisions…. Do you find yourself changing lens to obtain around 20mm on your 17-40mm in preference of 24mm???

I'm such a big fan of Bruce Percy so really nice to see him get a mention…
