  1. Raw vegans is hard if vegetables 🥒 is not heavy in the meal or the person can be too thin. High ends greens makes muscles 💪. I like raw vegans who are muscular but it depends on the work out

Beans are high in "LECTINS" and potatoes are night shade that contain "LECTINS" ,Rice also contain lectins and spike your blood sugar .If you have a hard time losing weight stay away from potatoes and white rice .Lectins are a large class of carbohydrate-binding proteins they are hard to digest (this has the effect that they can overfeed certain species of gut bacteria and lead to "gut dysbiosis" , which now linked to a variety of many health conditions),
    they can interact with the gut barrier and actually damage the cells that form the gut barrier or open up the junctions between those cells (genetic susceptibility plays a role in what extent this happens in your body), contributing to development of a leaky gut (now linked to a variety of health conditions), and they can stimulate the immune system (proportional to how much enters the body and type of lectin).

    There are really just two classes of lectins that are known to be problematic for human health and have the above properties. The first are called prolamins (gluten is an example of a prolamin), so called because of their rich proline (an amino acid) content. The second are called agglutinins (wheat germs agglutinin,…. kidney bean lectin, and soy lectin are examples of agglutinins), so called because of their strong ability to agglutinate (or make clump together) red blood cells (they also happen to be rich in proline).Lectins are a type of protein that can bind to cell membranes.

    They are sugar-binding and become the “glyco” portion of glycoconjugates on the membranes. Lectins in plants are a defence against microorganisms, pests, and insects. They may also have evolved as a way for seeds to remain intact as they passed through animals’ digestive systems, for later dispersal. Lectins are resistant to human digestion and they enter the blood unchanged.Raw kidney beans contain from 20,000 to 70,000 lectin units, while fully cooked beans usually contain between 200 and 400 units.Lectins and the intestinal wall .This GI distress happens because lectins can damage the intestinal lining.When lectins affect the gut wall, it may also cause a broader immune system response as the body’s defenses move in to attack the invaders.

    Symptoms can include skin rashes, joint pain, and general inflammation. Other chronic disorders may be correlated with leaky gut — for example, researchers have even noted that children with autism have very high rates of leaky gut and similar inflammatory GI tract diseases.

    Phytohemagglutinin, also known as kidney bean lectin.

    Both prolamins and aglutinins (there are many many proteins within each class) affect the type of bacteria that like to grow in your gut (in a negative way, typically preferentially overfeeding certain strains like E. coli). They are also very good at crossing the gut barrier .The average North American diet is highly grain-based: bread, pasta, rice, cereals, etc. are everywhere, especially in processed foods.Was the body ever equipped to deal with that type of grain onslaught?

    If you have a weight problem stay away from tropical fruit ,wheat ,bread that spike your insulin high . If you have good pancreas that process sugar 100% and you're slim then you are one of the few that you can eat all the shit that spikes up your insulin .

    About fish oils ?
    All fish becomes unhealthy after two hours being caught .And Fish oils become "RANCID" and toxic after being steamed out of the fish , by the time the fish oils are processed and put in capsules and shipped to a warehouse the fish oil is sickly rancid and toxic for the human body to consumed ! don't take anything made in a bottle or can . All toxic and made to make billions of dollars for the supplement companies . Every one wants instant gratification in a bottle ! Don't be lazy eat healthy rel organic food .

  5. I've been on a strict vegan diet for 6 months now. I've been weight training and doing intense cardio once per week…and walking on other days. I adopted this diet for heart health. Nevertheless…I've lost muscle mass, and skin is drooping a bit. I feel like my hair has thinned a bit…or has fallen out some. My blood pressure has dropped by quite a bit, but my muscle strength in the gym has not gone up at all…and even dropped a bit. I'm really counting my protein today….along with calories. I need to get to the bottom of this and find out why this diet is making me lose muscle mass. I've read in several places that it provides more than enough protein for muscle gain…. Nevertheless…my body composition is not very good. My flexitarian diet was way better for physique and strength performance in the gym…

  6. Well . I am not bias at all . I am not with meat eater or strict vegan . You may experience weight loss and more energy due to you did cut out ton of foods in daily diet . I believe you can get protein, calcium, d , iron and zinc . The most important is b12 . And if you are deficient of b12 that can pernicious anemia lack of b12 cause Alzheimer disease and cancer . Doesn't mean free meat diet is healthy . I know ton of vegans are into supplements and fortified products . Most of fortified products are processed therefore vegan can't get entire essential vitamins in her or his diet . I was strict vegan for two years even tbs of honey I didn't eat . I diagnosed with anemia my body can't sustain without supplements

  8. raw food is far inferior to cooked,cooked food is easier to digest and contains more energy,cooked food gives you 120% more than raw,argue with the scientist that works with david attenborough,if i feed my dogs raw food they look weaker within a week compared to cooked meat,you are messing with nature,4 yrs is no time to see what happens when you starve yourself of the protein you need,youll both pay for it in the long run,there is no escape from malnourishment.

If he really wanted to gain more muscle, he could. You can totally gain muscle on a raw vegan diet, although it would not be completely 80/10/10. His wife loves him and that is what matters. I bet he could run circles around all of you going hiking a 14'er.

  12. Riding a bike is fun and good exercise. Walking, bicycles and mass transit will all be part of making cities livable.
    Ride to school………ride to work………ride for fun.
    Bike to work day should be everyday….. employers needs to provide places to park and lock bicycles and encourage employees to ride a bicycle to work. Children should be riding a bike to school instead of being dropped off by their parents. Cities need to do more to provide safe walking and biking trails and paths that connect homes, schools and businesses. Speak up and ask for more bicycle paths in your community. Obesity is a growing problem around the world leading to an increase in heart disease, cancer and high blood pressure. Walking and biking can help improve health.

  13. Soda and Starbucks have too much sugar and fat in their drinks.
    Food should not be bad for you. Processed food has too much fat, salt, sugar and additives in them making them unhealthy. People need to go to their favorite food processors website, click on the CONTACT link and send them an email asking them to reduce the amount of fat, salt, SUGAR and ADDITIVES in the foods they produce. Their common answer is that they are producing what the customers want. You have to let them know that consumers want healthier food choices with less salt, fat, SUGAR and ADDITIVES in them. It only takes a minute to send them an email, tweet, call or text. Food should not be bad for you. There is an obesity epidemic leading to increases in heart disease, high blood pressure and cancer.

  14. To be honest, you both looked much healthier and better in the 'before' picture. With respect, you have both aged considerably and just appear insipid. That's not to suggest your dietary changes haven't improved certain aspects of your health, but you're being a little delusional attempting to market this diet as something that initiates visual improvements. Cleary, you're trying to promote your business, and most of your claims, particularly with regard to success in physical endeavours, are absolutely nothing to do with veganism and everything to do with sensible dieting, regardless of whether that includes meat or not.

Wow ! you both look much better ! don't ever get fat again !!….Eat organic ,sleep 10 hours a night to get high level of GH growth hormone , go to bed early and wake up early , sleeping is so important to lose weight….cut all white flour, rice, sugar,junk food , alcohol , drink filter un- chlorinated water , stop drinking coffee, coffee will slow down your liver and raise your insulin and walk 20 thousand steps a day minimum .winter time take two capsules of oregano oil with food to kill fungus , do not take man made vitamins they are all china made , all vitamins are poison …detox your liver warm water with organic squeezed raw lemon first thing in the morning ,also fasting detoxes your body,,,, go to the country side or forest and breath fresh air ! detox your lungs, detox your stress, get rid of your visa and credit , loans , live poor and healthy ! and last………… stay away from negative people .

    I lost so far over 104 pounds in a vegan strict diet in just over 4 years and I jog 4 times week . Now i am slim and I can wear nice clothes before i was fat , had type 2 diebetes and sleep apnea . Now i am healthy..if you dont have the skinny gean you need to watch everything you eat and excersise .When i am hungry i eat steel oats they have lots of fiber and make feel full . eat steel oat the ones that are hard not the commercial instant oat. Good luck i hope my post can help you with your health .

    – her hair looks undoubtedly healthier and thicker on old picture than today
    – her skin looks way healthier than present pale skin
    – it looks like he lose some hair although I'm not 100% sure
    – he had quite good physique on old picture. Now apparently malnourished and pale.

    Sorry guys but that's what I see.
    Btw. I'm not against veganism nor vegetarianism.
