  1. Anyone else think 2001 is boring? Like I’ve tried watching twice and both times I’ve fallen asleep cuz of the 70hr intervals of shots of space. I know I’m not the only one.

  2. 10: Argo was better
8: I hate The social network
4: Apocalypse now and Kramer vs Kramer seemed great movies as to deserve the Oscar.

    Rocky overshowed: Taxi driver
    Ordinary people overshowed: Raging bull
Driving miss daisy overshowed: Born of the fourth of july
    Chicago overshowed: The pianist
    Moonlight overshowed: La la land

  3. What was so great about Chariots of Fire?? I'm not being sarcastic. I've seen it & I just don't understand all the hoopla. Please no "you're probably too young to remember the impact" replies. I'm 46…. most likely older than most of you. Yikes.

  4. The only one I don't agree on is the Brokeback mountain overshadowing Crash.. Crash is a 10 times better movie. The music, the acting, theme, everything.. Two gay cowboys.. Ihaaaaa…

  5. Is it just me, or do people only talk about Brokeback Mountain because it lost to Crash? It’s not talked about or remembered for any other reason. In my opinion both films are overrated, and were nominated because of politics.

  6. Forever petty that The Social Network didn't win over that snoozefest that was The King's Speech. I'm sorry, but I tried watching that movie 3 times, and 3 times I fell asleep in the middle. Also, I gotta admit that most of the overshadowed winner movies I don't remember or have never seen.

  7. The English Patient didn't win because it's like 100 hours long and no one was able to get to the end in one sitting.
Jesus fucking christ it took me like 3 days because I kept falling asleep.
