  1. Nice film, I've got a lot of inspiration watching it. Do you may share some tips about publishing street photo – taken in UK – on private website (protfolio)? Especially photos where people are main topic of it. Any restrictions/laws on it we should know maybe? Cheers!

  2. Great video, lovely editing. That could be me talking instead of you…just swap Manchester for Leicester! I was in Saigon Nov/Dec 2013 as well with my D3 and D700. I forced myself to use a 50mm prime there and have never looked back. I know people always go on about being discreet, you can still be discreet with a pro body camera. If I bang my 28mm D lens on, my camera isn't all that big. Horses for courses.

  3. I'm just about to start as a street photographer. Need a camera first! Ha. At the mo just taking randoms with my phone.
This was really inspiring though, exactly the way I feel. So thanks! And good luck.

  4. I totally understand what you mean by the photographer eye(i call it photographers vision lol) I'm a 17 year old photographer based in Manchester do quite a bit of street photography and other genres too same with my friend Kyle. And honestly me and him would both love to meet you and shoot with you, we are just always trying to find new photogrpher buddies😂😂😂

  5. This is a great short film bro! I'm a 16 year old photographer and I love everything about this art. I just got a Nikon not to long ago and opportunities are already coming my way. I started off using my phone for about two years until last year when I got a dslr.

  6. Very nicely done
its all i shoot since picking up a camera last year,
check out my work and if your ever in London drop me a line & we can hit brick lane etc
    quality production

  7. Beautiful story and impeccable production. Thanks I really enjoyed that especially as someone from Manchester that lived in the city centre for many years and enjoyed street photography at an amateur level. Inspired me. Cheers

  8. very enjoyable Matthew, your passion for street photography really comes through in this short film. I have only just ventured into it and find your outlook inspiring.

  9. I really enjoyed this so well done and a really enjoyable film. Can I offer just one tiny nitpick for the purpose of feedback or I should say sticking my neb in 🙂 I think the fact that they cropped your images to fit the cinematic letterbox frame of the film has lost so much of your images. OK they didnt not get across your quality but I do think the crop didn't look right in some of the images. I never heard of you before seeing this and have just been over to your website to see if my thoughts on the crop has made a difference and although this video has presented you and your photography really well, the images in my opinion being cropped like this in this video does not give your work full justice.
Yes letterbox crop works for film but not for stills if it means the image is being cropped so much BUT as I say its just a nitpick and thank you for doing this film, you have captured some fantastic images and come across really well and genuine on camera. Sending Love and Respect from Ireland ♥ Subbed
