  1. Congratulations to the winners. I can relate to your comment about the screen as my eye sight is deteriorating too. Re Strickly: my partner insist that I watch it with her because it's something we can do together as a couple. Happy New Year.

  2. I cracked up laughing when you said merry christmas with the light up tree and santa hat. Congrats to the winners! My favourite image was the tiger laying on the grass, looking into the distance.

  3. Another fun video Paul. Nearly watched all of yours now. You have a great year and I hope I can do as well as you have on your channel. If your up in the North York Moors anytime and need a scout give me a shout. Peace to you and your family buddy.

  4. Lightroom CC for £6.95 per month; you must have some sort of special arrangement with Adobe, as they are ripping me off at £10.10 a month!!! Perhaps that's because I'm a Londoner!! 😉 Sorry to say it, but I thought Gary's B&W of the Tiger was the winner for me, despite the fact that the Tiger was actually doing something in yours (did you try a mono conversion?).

  5. I must admit, the £500 did inspire me to comment, how shallow I know. I will keep on commenting though as yo channel is superb. Have a great 2018 and I hope there are many vlogs.

  6. Loved your video and found it to be very entertaining. Great images. It is a coincidence that I have been spending time in the local zoo lately. I find it a good change from landscapes and it presents different challenges. Look forward to your future videos.

  7. Love the tiger images, they are my favourite wild cat, just a shame the only way we can see them these days is in a wildlife park.Congratulations to all the winners. Happy new year to you and your family Paul, and really appreciate all the work that you have put in over the past year, and am really looking forward to seeing what the following year will bring. Peace xx

  8. I enjoy your videos and look forward to new ones in the new year, but I still can't think of anything except the "flying gums" when I see you now. That comment still makes me chuckle.

  9. Happy New Year fella. Always look forward to your vids but also know that family comes first. I don't know what kind off New Years Eve party you had but looking at the state of the house I would let someone else put their hand up next year

  10. Well done buddy nice to cu back👍🏻 and congrats in the sub count. this year when your down we will have to do something together that’s my New Years resolution lol.

  11. Good to see you back. Don’t fret about all the remodel work. The DIY home improvement shows make remodeling look so fast and easy. The house has been there a long time. So it isn’t going anywhere. With all my little photog wanderings here in my new home of New England it took me a year to put up new rail and balusters up. The wife swore I was trying to collect life insurance on her. 😆
Oh. Not sure if it’s on my end but the music drowned out your voice on the intro. Music is a nice touch but I’d rather hear what your saying.

  12. Happy New Year Paul, great down to earth vlog as always. Have you considered a time lapse of you/your builders working on your house? I understand the D850 is supposed to have that capability and be good at it. Looking forward to your next landscape set…when you get the chance that is…happy DIY 'ing.
