  1. I have a homemade backpack too. Depth was a problem with mine too. Try losing the frame. I solved the frame problem with a single fiberglass pole from my son's crawling tunnel (when he was done with it of course) bent into an arch and sewn in. Gave enough rigidity. Stands up nice too. Made a floor with plastic yard sale sign cut to size. I can do 18 to 20 discs across. Plus two in the putter pocket (this only works with no bulky internal frame) and up to 5 in thd added storage loft up top.
