My 5 FAVORITE LENSES for Filmmaking/Photography

What are the best lenses for filmmaking with your mirrorless Sony cameras?
I tested several and finally sticked with this Combos to shoot video and photos.
In this video we gonna talk about my favorite crop and full frame lenses from low budget to the more expensive lenses so maybe it’s easier for you to decide what to take with you on your next trip!

FIND ALL CAMERAS AND LENSES INSIDE MY KIT!

THE LENSES I USE:
► Sigma 30mm 1.4 DC DN (crop)
► Sony 10-18mm f4 OSS (crop)
► Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 (crop)
► Sony GM 24-70 2.8 (full frame)
► Samyang 85mm t1.5 Cine Lens (full frame)

Remember that you can also use full frame lenses on your crop camera but it multiplies your focal length by x1.5, so for example you will get a 127,5mm on the a6300 when using the 85mm full frame lens on it!

  1. currently using the Sony 35 f.18 and 10-18 f4 , thinking about getting the Sigma 18-35 f1.8 – would that be too redundant? I would probably use the 18-35 on handheld mostly and keep the other two lenses on my zhiyun crane. Thoughts?

  2. Thank you so much for this video! Have been humming and haring about which body and the a6500 is just so attractive due to the price which is great that you recommend! Unfortunately you cant get them in NZ so will have to contiue to saving to afford to buy form Amazon lol quick question: would you suggest just buying the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 (crop) over the Sigma 30mm 1.4 DC DN (crop) and pair it with the  Sony 10-18mm f4 OSS (crop)? Im a travel photographer who likes doing videos on the side, if that helps 😀

  3. I WANT the Sigma 30mm 1.4 but I have the A6300. I'm worried I'll get shots that are too shaky.. This is why I'm considering the Sony 35mm 1.8. Do you think the Sigma 30mm is still worth it over Sony's 35mm?

  4. Can the Sigma 18-35 be used on the A7? I have an A7R II. I know the Sigma is offered for Sony, but only A-mount. What would you recommend? Using an A-mount converter or getting the Canon version and using the MC-11 (if it'll fit on the A7). Thanks!

  5. I'm glad you gave the 18-35 1.8 a chance. thats what i use for all my videos.   I sold my Ronin M.. looking into something more convenient. i Heard the EC1 beholder or Moza air will be able to handle the a6500 and 18-35 which is a heavy set up. is it true? cuz i don't wanna buy another ronin. its annoying as hell to move around with.

  7. Dude you were shooting in my area. I wish we could have met. I would love to hang out and collaborate with you one day. Let me know whenever you´re in Munich or around this area.

BTW….The autofocus is pumping and hunting on this video? Why is that?

    Grüße aus München
