  1. One second we're on the inside of a Tacoma, the next we're walking barefooted through the corn field like the Children of the Corn. What just happened? also the ranger is not disposable it is simple so that it won't break the bank when you do have to fix it. They stuck with the 80s frame all the way till 2011 because they found the niche that all the other small trucks were leaving. The base Ranger was like $14,000 in 2008 and got almost 30 miles to the gallon if it was a 2.3 with a manual stick shift.
