  1. Just picked up my2016 scatpack 392 6 speed manual b5blue.with all the options love the car put 117 miles on it and off to climate storage.I already have a 5.7 hemi but just had to have this also .sold my67 gtx 426 hemi bought in 68 loved that also ,I found the price pretty fair I thought .cant take it with you im 68 yrs old an finially starting to enjoy the challanger is a great car seems solid I had alot of fun now I have to wait till the snow goes away

  2. Hopefully Dodge doesn't listen to the people that says make it lighter and smaller. History shows this car was made to be bigger and better then the competition

  3. Yes I do remember the downsized Challenger of the late 70s or early 80s. Not exactly the best years for the Challenger. My sister had the similar model under the Plymouth brand: the Sapporo.

  4. Just picked up mine yesterday, dealer demo with 1200 miles so CHING, saved a ton..My is granite (Battleship gray), has matte black MOPAR wheels, and all the interior options..I paid 41,950

  5. I have the 2014 R/T 6 speed 5.7 L…I just could not afford the Scat Pack, even though I took it for a test drive..so Ill drive the '14 for a few years and wait on the price of one of these to drop..b/c I doubt I'll ever get a hellcat..I love these cars and yes they are big, but confy..plenty of HP and nice to look at, worth the money to me..enjoy one if you have it.

  6. This review was done back in October, 2014. They have come down since then. I bought mine a little over a month ago for 41K and have seen others sell for 38K.

  7. always been an import guy but i have to say the scatpack @ $39,000 with almost 500HP is a must have…i love the upgraded Bilstein HD8's and lowered stiffer springs, brembo's,bigger sway bars etc and the 6.4 Hemi…all for $39K? i'll take a manual please…this ride is a keeper…def one of the few cars out there worth the car note.

  8. For once Dodge has actually beat Ford to the punch and brought out higher horsepower cars ahead of them .But I'd be surprised if Ford does not come out with a big block Mustang hitting the 750 HP mark pretty soon .Horsepower is not a big deal with superchargers , its malking the car worth buying that is the trick .It can't be a one trick pony though .Just straight line cars are a thing of the past .
But these days will be over as quick as they began like in 1972 everything turned to shit with a couple of exceptions  .
You know a brand new Dodge Challenger in 1970 with a 440 cube only set you back four grand ,the Hemi was a big option almost doubled the price of the car . That's why they are so rare , not that they wee=re much faster than the 440 cube engine cars .
Dealers are all worms though .they overcharge just for an option package , it really does not cost much moe to put in a 6.4 over a 5.7 its all just marketing bulshit and a few littele extras to fluff it up .
Still get my blood heating up though , or is that just my pacemaker running fast ?
