Cyndi Lauper won’t be following in Bruce Springsteen’s footsteps and protesting North Carolina’s passage of the HB2 law … not by boycotting concerts there …

  1. Please boycott all businesses in and around the Bay Area for their hypocritical arrests of trans entering and ":hanging around" the bathroom –>http://www.mercurynews.com/crime/ci_11558044 . Don't let CA businesses not care about arrest trans men who are in the bathroom too long in San Jose, CA , then use the media to make sure everyone knows Paypal and many other Bay Area businesses are boycotting NC for their laws of trans men entering the girls room. It cuts both ways..you can't say good job San Jose police on getting that perv out of the girls room, then blink and say good job Fed for suing NC for trying to keep progressive trans men in NC out of the girls room!

  2. DEMORATS ARE LOSING THEIR FANS. YES DEMOCRATS TELL YOU WHERE YOU CAN GO, WHEN YOU CAN DO IT, HOW TO SAY IT, AND EVEN WANT TO CONTROL YOUR POTTY DRESSED LIKE PERVERTS. SO BRING IT ON LIBERALS. SHOW US YOUR BACKWARD WAYS OF OPPRESSION. COMMUNISM WAS INVENTED IN 1853 AND REGRESSES YOUR WALLET AND RIGHTS.

  3. No one even attacks gays anymore. If some homophobic person is caught offending a member of the LBGT community, they usually get beaten up. Come on guys.

  4. Since I suspect the vast majority of her fans would be LBGT think it's great that she will continue to support them and give her audience hope for a few hours at least. In fact Lauper in the 90s did the very same thing when anti-gay laws were passed, she still played her shows and donated the money to causes connected to LGBT groups

  5. Good for Cyndi!! Canceling concerts accomplishes absolutely nothing. All that results is the loss of fans and revenue. These musicians can go on Twitter rants or even use the performance itself as a platform to talk about their views. No need to disappoint and alienate concert goers. But what I'm really fed up about is that HB2 is essentially a labor law that effects every employed person in N.C. The truth of it is being covered up by a bunch of smoke and mirrors about bathrooms. Please educate yourself Harvey!!
