  1. "John Cougar Mellencamp"? In those years, he was just John Cougar; that's the name he was stuck with because of a 1970s publicity campaign … where he was publicly proclaimed as Johnny Cougar instead of John Mellencamp. "Cougar" had to release a successful album under that name before he dared went and expanded it with the "Uh-huh" follow-up.

  2. Quarterflash…gotta love a woman who can sing and play the sax! Tainted Love..awesome. Mellencamp..One of the best concerts ever! And who can forget the song with one of the best opening lines: You were working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, when I met you. Thanks for a trip down memory lane!!
